Prior to joining BGA, Ali Wines worked for five years as the chief of staff at BrooksBowerAsia. Today she plays as similar role as BGA’s chief operating officer. Earlier she served for eight years at the White House, holding a range of prestigious positions under presidents Bill Clinton and George W. Bush.
As a member of the elite Executive Secretariat at the National Security Council (NSC) at the White House, Wines played a key role in the coordination and implementation of the president’s agenda. She accompanied presidents on numerous trips abroad gaining unique insights into the creation and execution of U.S. foreign policy.
Prior to joining the NSC, Wines worked in the White House Counsel’s Office, where she was on the frontline of interactions between the executive and legislative branches. She has special insights into the inner workings of many federal agencies and the U.S. Congress.
Wines studied American government at the University of Virginia.
