Rosemary Cummins is BowerGroupAsia’s senior advisor for its Australia office. Earlier roles in the private sector, both in Australia and the United Kingdom, have equipped her to understand the needs of companies with global reach.
As a senior equity research analyst at Citigroup and UBS, Rosemary was responsible for forecasting the performance of Australian Stock Exchange (ASX)-listed healthcare companies to enable comparative analysis across the broader investment market. Her work required multi-dimensional research examining the broader economic, political and social overlay in addition to industry and company specific variables. The multinational companies in her portfolio required research spanning different geographical and business markets, each offering unique features to be interpreted.
More recently, Rosemary has acted as a consultant to a number of ASX listed companies. Working with management, she has benefited from firsthand experience in tailoring her research and analysis to meet her clients’ business development and planning needs. In addition, she represented her clients in meetings with industry associations and engagement with government offices. She has gained deeper insight in managing the competing needs of different stakeholder groups.
Rosemary is a graduate member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, which engages in shaping corporate governance laws and practices in Australia. She is currently a non-executive director for a not-for-profit organization. Rosemary received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Queensland and was awarded a University Gold Medal before undertaking a graduate diploma in applied finance and investment. She lives in Melbourne with her husband, Tom, and their four children.
