Phuong Ha is an experienced researcher with expertise on Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Vietnam. Prior to her current role as BGA research director, she led efforts to track trends and government policies in BGA’s Hanoi office where she conducted research, utilized her far-reaching networks and facilitated client engagement with key officials.
Ha first joined BGA in 2010 as a public relations and communications officer in the Hanoi office. Earlier, she consulted with clients on marketing and branding in the real estate market and worked as a financial analyst at IBM Vietnam. She has experience as a freelance market researcher for a number of well-known Vietnamese companies focused on media and communications.
In 2007, she represented Hanoi in a delegation to the World Bank‘s International Conference on Environmental Issues in Vietnam, Japan and Australia. She was also a supporting member for the business roundtable with the Vietnamese government in 2008.
Ha graduated with honors from the Thunderbird School of Global Management in Arizona with a Master’s degree in global management and received a Bachelor’s degree in international economics from Hanoi Foreign Trade University.
