Winnie Seow Mei is an analyst with BowerGroupAsia’s Malaysia office. Winnie possesses a strong understanding of Malaysia’s economic landscape and maintains effective networks with both public and private sectors in the country.
Prior to joining BGA, Winnie was an economic and trade policy officer at the British High Commission Kuala Lumpur. Her role involved supporting the high commission and UK businesses on trade policy and the business environment, including analysis of non-tariff barriers and market access issues in the Malaysian market. She was responsible for devising and implementing projects under the UK government’s Prosperity Fund, aimed at improving shared prosperity between the UK and Malaysia.
Previously, Winnie worked with Millward Brown and Frost and Sullivan as a consultant, specialising in branding strategies and public sector management, respectively.
Winnie holds a master’s degree in public policy from University College London.
