Aldwin supports BGA’s client services team with research and marketing products through incorporating digital intelligence surrounding major issues and trends across the Asia-Pacific from the Washington, D.C., office.
A native of Jakarta, Indonesia, who has also lived in Singapore, Aldwin maintains deep networks in the Southeast Asian public and private sector, both in the region and in Washington. Prior to this role, Aldwin was a senior analyst at AkarAsia, a digital intelligence firm, where he worked directly with the intelligence platform to identify trends, opportunities and risks arising from online activity around the company’s clients across the Asia-Pacific. He also played a role in advising senior management on new product development. In addition, Aldwin worked as a research assistant at BGA Indonesia, where he tracked changes and gathered information on a wide range of Indonesian economic and political issues.
Aldwin earned a master’s degree in international development studies from George Washington University’s Elliott School of International Affairs, specializing in private sector development. He received his Bachelor of Arts in international affairs from the University of Colorado at Boulder, focusing on Southeast Asian politics and economy.
