Dimas supports BGA clients based on his experience in public policy advocacy and corporate legal advice. He specializes in regulatory monitoring, legal analysis and policy advocacy, helping clients navigate regulatory pitfalls and ensuring they are offered the maximum benefit afforded to them by laws and policies.
Prior to joining BGA, Dimas was a lawyer at a leading global commercial law firm, Herbert Smith Freehills in Jakarta. He was involved in projects, including advising multinational companies on complex business transactions, corporate investigations and contentious disputes in arbitration.
Dimas previously served as a researcher at the prestigious Centre for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) in Jakarta where he advised government stakeholders on policy recommendations related to the maritime and defense sectors.
Dimas obtained his master’s degree in international investment law and international investment arbitration from the Dickson Poon School of Law at King’s College in London with a scholarship from the Indonesian Ministry of Finance. He graduated cum laude and was awarded the outstanding student prize in international law from Gadjah Mada University.
