Hong Anh is an analyst at BowerGroupAsia Vietnam. She assists BGA managers in conducting research and analysis on public policy issues and monitors developments in the finance and banking sector.
Prior to joining BGA, Hong Anh worked as a policy and research intern for the US-ASEAN Business Council in Washington, DC, where she researched national and regional economic policy issues in the countries of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN). After graduation, Hong Anh worked for the US-ASEAN Business Council in Vietnam as a project coordinator. She worked with a team doing research and helped organize several high level delegations.
Hong Anh spent five years studying and living in Bangkok, Thailand, prior going to college in the United States. While in university, she participated in an exchange program in Shanghai, China, where she worked as a marketing intern at a foreign-owned magazine. She helped monitor marketing activities on Chinese social media and conducted research on the media market and consumer behavior for the company’s future expansion.
Hong Anh received a full scholarship for a bachelor’s degree in international business and marketing at North Central College in Chicago. Later, she earned certification in digital marketing from Baruch College in New York.
