Jacqueline is a practicing lawyer who conducts legal research and provides legal advice and guidance on navigating the Philippines’ political and regulatory environment.
Prior to joining BGA, Jacqueline served the government as a public defender. She provided indigent litigants free legal assistance, from preparation of pleadings and other legal documents to representation in court proceedings. Jacqueline was also an elected municipal councilor in the local government of San Jose, Batangas, where she passed ordinances and resolutions for the administration and welfare of the municipality. Additionally, she served as legal counsel for the Agricultural Sector Alliance of the Philippines, Inc., a Philippine political party.
Jacqueline holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from De La Salle University-Manila and Bachelor of Laws from San Beda College-Mendiola, Manila.
