Kamil is an analyst at BGA Indonesia. He is very experienced in the Information, Communications and Technology (ICT) industry. As the Indonesian government pursues its Industry 4.0 initiatives, Kamil supports BGA clients to collaborate effectively with regulators to enhance their market presence.
Kamil has supported improved ICT industry standards by developing roadmaps for companies seeking to transform their technology capabilities in accordance with Industry 4.0. He closely tracks the development of the nascent financial technology industry, having worked closely with Indonesian payment systems. He has strong networks within the Ministry of ICT, Indonesian Cloud Association (ACCI), Indonesian Internet Services Providers Association (APJII) and Indonesian Fintech Association (Aftech).
Prior to joining BGA, Kamil was a consultant for International Data Corporation, a well-known consulting and research firm focusing on the telecommunication and ICT industry. During his tenure there, Kamil supported Indonesia’s biggest telecoms provider to expand to other Southeast Asian markets through a strategy which emphasized organic entry through partnerships.
Kamil holds a bachelor’s degree in international relations from Padjadjaran University.
