Mi Tran is an analyst at BowerGroupAsia where she supports managers in conducting research and analysis in different sectors and in running media and communication activities for clients. She has six years of experience in providing trade promotion support to European businesses at different trade associations in Vietnam and the United Kingdom.
Before joining BGA, Mi oversaw the Hanoi Business Centre of the British Business Group in Vietnam, which is a strategic partner of the UK Department for International Trade. In this role, she provided trade advice and organized trade programs for British companies to understand the Vietnamese market and find potential partners in a wide range of sectors. During her time in the UK, she worked for the British Educational Suppliers Association, one of the UK’s fastest growing trade associations, to prepare for their first exhibition in Vietnam.
Earlier, Mi was the personal assistant to the executive director of the European Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam where she organized his daily schedule, accompanied him to meetings with Vietnamese government agencies and ran business events to update market information for European companies in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. Before that, she served as an intern at the Department of International Relations at the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Mi holds a Master of Arts in globalization, business and development from the Institute of Development Studies at the University of Sussex in the UK under a British government Chevening Scholarships Award. She also earned a master’s degree in public management from the Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management at the Université libre de Bruxelles under the Vietnam – Belgium master’s program. She received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Hanoi University.
