Millie McCulloch is country director for New Zealand at BowerGroupAsia.
Prior to joining BGA, Millie worked as a corporate and commercial lawyer in various roles in Australia and New Zealand. Most recently, Millie worked as senior legal counsel at Xero, a New Zealand technology company, supporting the Australia and New Zealand legal team.
Prior to that she served as deputy general counsel at Tabcorp, Australia’s largest gambling entertainment company, advising the business on legal requirements in various Australian jurisdictions in heavily regulated environments. During this time, she was part of the transaction team involved in the approximately $6.8 billion merger with the Tattersalls group. Millie has worked extensively in biotechnology, life sciences and commercialisation, with roles in a pre-eminent stem cell research organisation, The University of Melbourne and in private legal practice.
Millie graduated with a Masters in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science (Neuroscience) from the University of Otago, and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Canterbury.
Millie lives in Dunedin, New Zealand, with her husband and two young children.
