Orm manages communications between the vice president and key stakeholders, supports BGA’s corporate strategic initiatives and maintains the vice president’s schedule.
Orm has an extensive background in coordinating projects and administrative support. Prior to joining BGA, she spent six years working at the Royal Thai Embassy in Washington, D.C., where she conducted research on Thai-U.S. relations and handled day-to-day administrative support for diplomats. She also managed two programs for the political section at the embassy to promote better understanding of Thailand in the U.S. and to enhance involvement of Thai-American youth in U.S. politics.
Earlier Orm worked for a private medical practice in Florida prior to moving to Washington, where she managed billing processes and served as a liaison between physicians and hospitals.
Starting her career in the entertainment industry, Orm worked for RS Promotion in Thailand as an event co-producer where she pitched and implemented ideas for concerts and events. She later joined Kantana Sound Studio as sound production coordinator and assistant to the sound vice president. In this role, she managed post production sound schedules and staffing for movies, advertising and trailers.
Orm graduated with honors from Thammasat University in Thailand with a Bachelor of Arts in journalism and mass communications. She received her Master of Business and Administration, with a concentration in marketing, from the University of Tampa in 2005.She currently resides in Fairfax with her husband, daughter and their dog.
