A Syahsam Dwi Ihza
Ihza is an experienced policy analyst with expertise in information and communications technology in Indonesia. He provides clients with a unique understanding of Indonesia’s pressing and dynamic political, bureaucratic, economic and regulatory landscapes, offering insights to capitalize on opportunities and manage potential risks.
Ihza has cultivated his policy acumen through diverse roles both inside and outside the government. Before his tenure at BGA, he served as an assistant to the special adviser for digital policy and human resource development at the Indonesian Ministry of Communications and Informatics, where he helped shape policies on digital infrastructure, e-government and emerging technologies. Ihza gained extensive research experience by contributing to projects on subregional economic cooperation and public health issues during the COVID-19 pandemic in Indonesia.
Ihza holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Universitas Gadjah Mada with a focus on global politics and security. He furthered his academic credentials with a master’s degree in strategic studies from Singapore’s Nanyang Technological University, where he was awarded the Tay Seow Huah Book Prize for the best dissertation in his graduate school.
