Amarsanaa Adiya

Amar is an international expert and policy advisor, having spent 20 years working with the key policymakers, senior executives and opinion leaders across Asia and North America. Based in Canada, he is responsible for engaging clients and providing strategic advisory services that advance clients’ business priorities across the Indo-Pacific.
Prior to working with BGA, Amar advised global miner Rio Tinto on strategic communications and stakeholder engagement broadly and on the political landscape and the company’s policy approach in Mongolia. Amar started his career as a diplomat developing policy statements and representing Mongolia and landlocked developing small states’ interests at the United Nations in New York.
Amar obtained master’s degrees in public policy and diplomacy from the Australian National University and has a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in international politics from the National University of Mongolia.
