Deborah Chow
Deborah is a seasoned policy analyst who helps BGA clients navigate Malaysia’s regulatory landscape, execute effective communications strategies and manage risk.
Prior to joining BGA, she served as a lobbyist and a policy, public relations and media consultant to various Malaysian members of Parliament, civil society organizations, intergovernmental organizations and private companies for nearly 10 years. She has experience conducting research across a wide spectrum of issues including health care, energy and sustainability, the energy transition and Malaysia’s industrial environment and workforce.
Deborah’s insights have been instrumental in shaping Malaysian policy. In her most recent role at the Prime Minister’s Department, she facilitated the communication strategy for legal policy and led media campaigns across Malaysia and Europe.
Deborah received a master’s degree from the University of Oxford, where she was a recipient of the Ertegun scholarship.
