Debra Spykerman

Debra is an efficient and organized professional with years of experience in senior and highly energetic work environments. Her organizational and multitasking skills help her manage projects, prioritize assignments and handle heavy workloads and changing deadlines. She is a resourceful, detailed-oriented person who manages deliverables within deadlines and budgets. 

Debra has a strong background working in executive administration, events and communications in agency and consultancy settings. She spent more than a decade at Burson-Marsteller and another decade with corporate event agencies. Early in her career, she developed a foundation in brand and corporate positioning for multinational companies and global brands across the Indo-Pacific. Her experience as an event specialist helps her communicate effectively across all levels, especially in top rated events for C-suite executives. 

Debra has led teams to strategize and host events across a range of industries. Her knowledge of project management, protocol, operations and logistics planning ensures that programs are delivered on time and within budget. Before joining BGA, Debra supported the corporate and public affairs (communications) team at the Singapore-based Alliance to End Plastic Waste. 

Debra speaks conversational Mandarin, loves to cook and bake and made her son’s wedding cake.
