Fikri Muhammadi

Fikri is a public policy professional with over a decade of experience in energy, natural resources and sustainability, in addition to sector expertise in finance and banking. Fikri supports BGA clients to understand and navigate Indonesia’s business regulations, take advantage of investment opportunities and overcome challenges hindering commercial operations.
Before joining BGA, Fikri was a public policy and government affairs supervisor at Amman Mineral Nusa Tenggara, a major copper and gold mining company in Indonesia. Earlier he built expertise in sustainability during his five years with the nonprofit Natural Resource Governance Institute, where he provided policy recommendations on oil, gas and mining best practices to the government. He previously also worked as a journalist for The Jakarta Post and as a consultant for the Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative International Secretariat from the World Bank Jakarta office.
Fikri received a prestigious Indonesia Education Endowment Fund (LPDP) scholarship from the government to obtain a Master of Science in emerging economies and international development from King’s College London. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Osmania University in India.
