Rahma Alifa

Rahma is an expert in regulatory assessment and political-economic impact analysis, covering sectors such as digital hardware and software, telecommunications, e-commerce, financial services and trade. With her experiences in stakeholder engagement and understanding of policymaking processes, Rahma provides in-depth research, comprehensive analysis and advocacy strategies to support and advance BGA clients’ business interests, strategic partnerships and policy objectives.

Prior to joining BGA, Rahma was a business and public policy analyst at the U.S.-ASEAN Business Council where she created and supported cross-industry advocacy efforts for leading multinational companies in Indonesia. She previously served as a research assistant to former Minister of Trade Mari Pangestu at the Centre for Strategic and International Studies in Jakarta. She conducted research on major political-economic developments in Indonesia and ASEAN for presentations and briefings at international events and was involved in numerous high-level multilateral meetings.

Rahma graduated from Sciences Po Paris with a Bachelor of Arts in social sciences with a concentration in European-Asian affairs and economics. She also attended the Warwick Business School for Erasmus+ exchange year program where she studied business economics.
