Ramizah conducts research and monitors and analyzes trends, including legislative and regulatory developments, to support BGA clients in Malaysia. She supports a portfolio of clients in the healthcare and pharmaceuticals sector.
Prior to joining BGA, Ramizah completed internships at Deloitte and at Frost & Sullivan. At Deloitte, she was involved in building strategies behind implementing the firm’s education-focused KidsEdu, a weekly volunteering program to teach math, science and English to primary school children residing in low-income housing. She helped organize the firm’s annual Impact Day and identified different opportunities for the following year. She also assisted in mapping branding strategies for the sustainability team under risk advisory services to promote its services to local businesses.
During her internship at Frost & Sullivan, Ramizah tracked policy developments in the automotive industry across India and Southeast Asia. She identified market trends in Laos and Cambodia and contributed to a report on strategic growth opportunities for Indonesia and Thailand. She researched Metro Manila’s Smart City efforts and incorporated her findings into client presentations.
Ramizah completed a bachelor’s degree in international relations, with a specific interest in political economy, public policy and comparative politics, from the University of Nottingham Malaysia Campus. She is passionate about community development and sustainability. She previously interned at the non-governmental organization (NGO) MySchool of Life and MyPerintis. As a strong advocate for quality education, she co-founded Project Access Malaysia, an education-focused NGO, where she acts as outreach officer. She also serves as head of outreach and collaboration for United Nations Association Malaysia Youth, where she advocates for stronger youth engagement in the community.
