Solveiga is a leader and mentor with over 15 years of experience in human resources operations and management. In her past positions working for private firms, charter schools and universities in the Washington area, she provided day-to-day leadership, advice, counseling and direction in all human resource areas including recruitment, compensation, employee relations, systems integration, training and development.
Solveiga holds a master degree in industrial psychology (organizational development) from Vilnius University and a second master degree in human resources management from Marymount University in Virginia.
Solveiga lives in Silver Spring, Maryland, with her husband Paul. They have two children, Lukas and Dainora. As an immigrant herself, she enjoys mentoring and coaching other immigrants at Carlos Rosario International Public Charter School. Born in Lithuania, Solveiga speaks Lithuanian, Russian and English.
