Associate Analyst
Kuhaneetha Bai Kalaicelvan
Kuhaneetha Bai researches and analyses Malaysia’s political, economic and regulatory landscape to support BGA clients in understanding how government decisions shape business and investment environments. She assists clients with stakeholder mapping and engagement across federal, state and local levels.
Prior to joining BGA, Kuhaneetha interned at Khazanah Research Institute, where she contributed to research and writing on topics spanning foreign and trade policy, socioeconomic issues, technology and governance. She has also engaged government, civil society and private sector stakeholders through roles with UNICEF Malaysia, AHAM Asset Management Berhad and the Perdana Fellows Alumni Association. Kuhaneetha has contributed to policy reports and recommendations presented to senior government officials and international organizations.
Kuhaneetha holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in international and strategic studies with a specialization in Southeast Asian Studies from the University of Malaya. She is proficient in English, Malay and Japanese.
