Alex Jones
Alex helps clients navigate strategies and align them with evolving policy landscapes. He brings more than 15 years of experience in management consulting and international affairs.
Alex has worked for the diplomatic missions of the United States, New Zealand and Italy in Australia and for the New South Wales state government. In these roles, he provided economic and political analysis, advised private companies on international market opportunities and worked on government initiatives to facilitate trade and investment.
Since transitioning to management consulting, Alex has focused on risk and operations in the defense, energy and health sectors. For private and public sector clients, he developed risk frameworks for legislative compliance, conducted supply chain security analysis and was a project manager for large-scale information technology transformations. He also spent two years in South Sudan as a political and conflict adviser to the United Nations peacekeeping mission and humanitarian nongovernment organizations.
Alex holds a Master of Political Economy from the University of Sydney and a double bachelor’s degree in business and international studies from the University of Technology Sydney. He is based in Sydney.
