Dang Ngoc Phuong
Phuong supports the research and analysis of Vietnam’s legislative developments and regulatory policies for BGA clients. Her background is in international law and arbitration.
Before joining BGA, Phuong interned at the Vietnam International Arbitration Center, where she supported arbitral proceedings. She helped the secretariat manage arbitration cases, engaged in administration work, translated documents and ensured compliance with procedural matters. Previously, Phuong worked as a news editor for a media company and a local television station. In these roles, she was responsible for gathering English-language news on world politics, economics and culture.
While a student, Phuong was recognized as the best counsel and national champion of the International Humanitarian Law Moot Court Competition, organized by the International Committee of the Red Cross. Phuong is a recipient of the prestigious Nguyen Co Thach Academic Excellence Scholarship from the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam, a Fostering Young Talent Scholarship from the State Capital Investment Corporation and a scholarship from the American Chamber of Commerce.
Phuong holds a bachelor’s degree with excellence in international law from the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam.
