Kevin Tang

Kevin’s experience spans media, corporate management and public policy. Leveraging a background in journalism, strategic communications and legislative affairs, he helps clients navigate complex policy and regulatory issues, engage key stakeholders and enhance their public positioning.

At BGA, Kevin advises clients on issues ranging from AI governance, news media bargaining, online child protection and energy policy, supporting stakeholder engagement, policy analysis, crisis management and media strategy.

Before joining BGA, Kevin served as a legislative aide, with extensive experience in congressional affairs, policymaking, government budgeting, fintech regulation, green finance and trade policy.

Prior to that, Kevin was a veteran journalist, working at several prominent Taiwanese media organizations, producing investigative reports, exclusive interviews and opinion columns. He also served as board secretary for a local telecommunications company and led marketing and project management initiatives.

Kevin holds a master’s degree in political science from National Chung Cheng University and completed doctoral coursework in international politics at National Chung Hsing University.
