Lew San Hong

San Hong translates complex technology policy developments into actionable business strategies. He enables BGA clients across the globe to navigate the Indo-Pacific’s complex regulatory environments and seize strategic opportunities in the technology sector.

Before joining BGA, San Hong served on the Singapore government relations team at Temasek International, where he conducted technology policy research and provided strategic advice to portfolio companies. He analyzed industry and regulatory developments in emerging technologies, such as quantum computing and the transformative effect of disruptive technologies on traditional markets. His work provided insights that informed corporate strategy and risk mitigation.

Prior to Temasek, he served as a graduate research analyst at the Asia Competitiveness Institute, analyzing ASEAN digital trade provisions with machine learning methods. He also interned at the Monetary Authority of Singapore’s International Department, where he examined de-dollarization trends and digital finance developments.

San Hong holds a master’s in international affairs from the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy at the National University of Singapore, where he was awarded the LKYSPP Merit Scholarship for Academic Excellence. He graduated with a Bachelor of Social Science degree in public policy and global affairs from Nanyang Technological University. San Hong is fluent in English and Mandarin.
