Marcia Elnida Roringpandey
Marcia advises health sector clients on how to respond to government priorities and regulations. She guides them through complex regulatory environments by explaining how policies affect business operations and planning and by identifying the decision-makers shaping those policies. Her work also involves engaging with clients and government interlocutors to find solutions that advance both commercial and public health objectives. Marcia’s efforts have led to included the inclusion of innovative medicines, vaccines and medical devices in Indonesia’s public reimbursement and health financing systems.
Her work builds on direct experience advising the minister of health through the ministry’s Strategic Delivery Unit, where she contributed to the generational revamping of Indonesia’s health system. She played a key role in advancing reforms in vertical hospitals and postgraduate medical education by working with policymakers and international partners. Her background gives her an insider’s perspective on how health policies are shaped and how stakeholders can achieve meaningful impact.
Marcia holds a Master of Public Health in Health Policy and Management from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
