Nanami Kano
Nanami conducts in-depth research and analysis on regulatory developments in Japan. She briefs clients on emerging trends and identifies opportunities for engagement between the public and private sector.
Before joining BGA, Nanami was a global accounts manager at SoftBank Corp, where she managed sales of cloud/closed network solutions to major Japanese corporations. Earlier, she interned at the Sumitomo Corporation of Americas, where she supported research on U.S. trade policy and politics, including the heated 2020 presidential election.
Nanami graduated from The George Washington University in Washington, D.C., with a Bachelor of Science, double majoring in international affairs and economics. She grew up in the United States, Japan, Bangladesh and The Philippines. She is a native speaker of Japanese and English.
