Nguyen Duc Hanh

Hanh supports BGA clients in Vietnam to understand and navigate government public policy and regulatory issues across a range of industries.

Prior to joining BGA, Hanh worked for more than 15 years in the legal department of the Vietnamese Ministry of Industry and Trade. She assumed various managing roles in different divisions in the department including trade policy, international law and general legal affairs.

Domestically, she participated in reviewing and drafting legal documents on industry and trade. Externally, she was a member of the negotiating team for several of Vietnam’s trade agreement negotiations. Her work at the ministry also involved coordinating technical support projects from international donors.

Before joining the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Hanh spent a few years at two consulting firms, U.S.-based KHM Inc. and Japan-based ALMEC Corp., which provided advisory services to governmental agencies in Vietnam concerning infrastructure development projects.

Hanh holds bachelor’s degrees in foreign trade and in law from several Vietnamese universities and a master’s degree in diplomacy and trade from Monash University in Australia.
