Prem Raktabutr

Prem is a legal associate who supports BGA’s regional operations, focusing on commercial contracting, legal compliance and contract process management. He works closely with internal teams to draft, review and manage contracts; identify legal and regulatory risks; and support policies and processes across multiple jurisdictions. His work helps ensure that BGA’s operations are well-structured, compliant and efficiently executed.

Prem’s career has been shaped by extensive international exposure and an appreciation of how law operates across borders. During and after his legal education in the Netherlands, he gained experience across public and private sector environments, including with local Thai businesses, the Thai Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the International Law Commission. These experiences deepened his interest in the nexus of regulation, governance and commercial practice.

Prem holds LL.M. degrees in international commercial law from the University of Groningen and public international law from Tilburg University, both in the Netherlands, where he graduated cum laude and with distinction, respectively. He is a qualified lawyer in Thailand.
