Sam Overholt

As a policy risk specialist, Sam is responsible for overall client service coordination and business development. He joined Yuan Associates in 2017.
Sam has over eight years of experience working throughout China including for the U.S. Commercial Service in Beijing, Chinese universities and government think tanks, multinational companies, overseas business associations and government affairs partners. Prior to his current role, he was senior associate for Weber Shandwick’s corporate practice in Beijing, providing media and policy research and support for Chinese and international Fortune 500 companies in the technology, energy, tourism, airline and automotive industries.
Sam is a graduate of the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) Nanjing Center and of Bard College.
