Saptarshi Lahiri

Saptarshi is a policy researcher and consultant with cross-sectoral experience spanning climate change and sustainability, public health, global trade and mobility. He helps clients design and execute policy advocacy strategies, with a core focus on strengthening government relations, cultivating thought leadership and facilitating strategic partnerships.

Previously, Saptarshi was associated with Chase Advisors in New Delhi, where he played a key role in formulating government-engagement strategies for clients. He led efforts to coordinate with multiple stakeholders, including central and state government officials, industry associations and civil society organizations, to further client outcomes. His work improved market access and fostered a more enabling business environment across diverse sectors. In addition, Saptarshi authored and led the development of detailed reports, offering insights into the policy and regulatory landscape across sectors such as fast-moving consumer goods, chemicals and health diplomacy.

Saptarshi holds a master’s degree in political science with a specialization in international relations from Ramjas College at the University of Delhi and a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Delhi.
