Syarina Mohd Idris

Syarina manages the BGA Malaysia office’s operations, leveraging 20 years of corporate communications experience in the banking, information technology and pharmaceutical sectors. She has played a major role in enhancing corporate reputation through effective, impactful and consistent communication.
Syarina graduated from the International Islamic University Malaysia with a bachelor’s degree in human sciences, the English language and literature. She began her career as an assistant manager at a Malaysian banking company, where she led public relations and corporate social responsibility programs. Syarina later moved to a Malaysian IT company, where she headed the corporate communications unit. Prior to joining BGA, she managed creative content design and business publications for a pharmaceutical company.
Syarina enjoys reading anything under the sun, from biographies to cookbooks; exploring her culinary skills in the kitchen; and traveling. She loves spending quality time with her children and playing with her cat.
