David Mineo

David works with BGA teams across the Indo-Pacific to provide analysis on critical political and economic developments to help clients forecast trends and draft strategic plans.

Prior to joining BGA, David was a digital intelligence analyst at AkarAsia, where he evaluated public sentiment on market developments in Asia and advised clients on risks and opportunities across various sectors. Earlier, he spent several years living and teaching in southern Thailand and worked as a project officer in the United Nations Development Program’s Southern Thailand Empowerment and Participation Project. In this capacity, he helped coordinate and monitor livelihood-improvement and peace-promotion projects to foster social cohesion in Thailand’s three conflict-ridden, southernmost provinces.

David holds a Master of Arts in Asian studies from the Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University, where he pursued a dual concentration in politics and security and Southeast Asia. He received a Bachelor of Arts from St. John’s University in English literature and graduated with honors. David is proficient in Thai and Lao.
