Reema Dhamija

Reema is an economist and policy researcher who specializes in logistics policy, trade facilitation and capacity-building initiatives. With over six years of experience in public policy, data analysis and economic research, she has played a pivotal role in shaping India’s national logistics policy, trade strategies and workforce development initiatives.
As a consultant at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Reema contributed to the development of the national logistics human resource workforce strategy in coordination with central ministries and international bodies. She has also designed logistics curriculums for central and state training institutes and was instrumental in facilitating government engagement with industry stakeholders to enhance logistics efficiency.
Earlier at the Department of Commerce, Reema managed trade matters for the Northeast Asia region, analyzing global trade trends and contributing to India’s trade negotiations. During her tenure at the Centre for WTO Studies in New Delhi, she worked on trade negotiations, drafted policy queries and represented India at World Trade Organization meetings..
Reema holds an M.A. in economics from Amity University and a B.A. with honors in economics from the University of Delhi. She has published extensively on international trade and has been featured in government reports and academic journals. She is fluent in English and Hindi.
