Aminata Dia

Aminata works at the intersection of community-based research, creative facilitation, business analysis and embodiment practices such as healing through self-awareness. With a strong commitment to fostering organizational growth and collective understanding, she helps organizations and communities translate their visions into actionable and sustainable strategies. Her work bridges design thinking methodologies and frameworks rooted in social justice, addressing systems of power, privilege and identity.

Aminata’s experience spans various sectors, including education, clean energy, inclusive finance and health care, with hands-on expertise in both local and international contexts such as Senegal, Côte d’Ivoire, Morocco, France and the United States. Notably, she has led gender-inclusive research initiatives, focusing on understanding the specific needs and aspirations of women in the cashew value chain in Côte d’Ivoire, and designed stakeholder-driven solutions within communities.

Her prior work includes designing research, messaging strategies and capacity-building programs for nonprofits such as The Even Bridge in Senegal as well as facilitating inclusive workshops with the New Jersey Education Association to promote collective understanding and collaboration.

Aminata holds a master’s degree in strategic design and management from Parsons The New School in New York City and a master’s degree in finance and strategy from Sciences Po Paris. Fluent in English and French, she brings a global, multidisciplinary perspective to her work, ensuring that each engagement is contextually relevant and impactful.
