Bui Thi Thu Nga
Nga is a public policy advisor, specializing in finance and banking. She supports BGA clients in these fields as well as on fintech and issues related to money transfers.
Nga previously worked more than a decade at the State Bank of Vietnam Foreign Exchange Management Department. As a government official, she handled economic transactions between residents and non-residents using foreign exchange as payment currency, particularly external borrowing, lending transactions and bond issuance in the international market. She has dealt with standard transactions and unprecedented cases involving current and former domestic and foreign regulatory standards. Her experience with various stakeholders provided her with a broad knowledge of different industries and gave her a macro-view of Vietnam’s economy.
Nga holds a Master of Arts in policy economics from Williams College in Massachusetts in the United States. She earned a Bachelor of Economics with distinction from the Foreign Trade University in Vietnam.
