Fetty Azizah

Fetty Azizah has been a BGA senior adviser for more than 20 years. She specializes in discreet, behind-the-scenes advocacy, using her political and business networks to influence policy outcomes, resolve regulatory challenges and protect business interests. Her expertise spans pharmaceuticals, food and beverages, financial services and energy. 

For more than seven years, Fetty served as a trusted, behind-the-scenes policy adviser to senior leadership at Indonesia’s Food and Drug Authority (BPOM). She has extensive experience working with BPOM on processed food and drug regulations. Fetty is also BGA’s lead expert on investment opportunities in and relationships with the Jakarta provincial government, in particular with the office of the governor.  

Fetty maintains direct access to Indonesia’s leading conglomerates, parliamentary leaders, senior government officials and influential political figures across major parties. Regularly engaged in high-level political discussions, she brings valuable intelligence on local business interests, including identifying domestic players who may support or challenge multinational companies’ market access. She uses these insights to anticipate risks, identify allies and develop unconventional engagement strategies to influence policy outcomes. 

Fetty holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Indonesia and is a graduate of the School of Journalism at the University of California, Berkeley.
