Idris Azim

Idris conducts in-depth research and analysis of Malaysia’s political, economic and regulatory developments to familiarize BGA clients with the local policy landscape. An adept solutions provider, he helps companies spanning across a range of sectors navigate Malaysia’s most complex business challenges and operate successfully within the country. 

Before joining BGA, Idris worked with a public policy advisory firm that provided high-level strategic advisory solutions to key stakeholders in the Malaysian government. He personally contributed to the development of several strategic public policy blueprints. Idris is a passionate futurist and has worked with the Asia Development Bank to develop a vision for the future of transport in Asia. 

Idris holds a bachelor’s degree in history science from King’s College London. He is fluent in English and Malay.
