Kay Park

Kay assists multinational businesses working in Korea on developing their public policies and communications strategies. Having worked as a journalist for over a decade, she has a deep understanding of media, government and business sectors not only in Korea but also in China where she built her earlier years’ experience.
Kay began her journalist career as a reporter for The Global Times in Beijing, where she dealt with pan-Asian affairs and financial markets. She returned to her native Korea in 2016, joining The Korea Herald as a reporter for business, investment, labor and economic issues. She continues to work as a business journalist concurrent to her advisory role at BGA.
Kay graduated from Sookmyung Women’s University with a double major in political science and economics. She worked for a boutique private equity firm as a junior analyst and investor relations manager before transitioning to journalism. She received a master’s degree in business journalism from China’s Tsinghua University in 2010, and a graduate certificate in Chinese and American studies in 2016 from the Hopkins-Nanjing Center, a program jointly run by Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) and Nanjing University.
