Madiha Hassan
Madiha is a policy analyst with extensive expertise in research, academia and consulting. She provides clients with critical insights on policy matters and strategic direction to navigate the regulatory and investment landscape in Pakistan.
Prior to joining BGA, Madiha was a faculty member at Bahria University in Islamabad where she taught courses on international relations. Following her passion for research, she also worked as a research fellow for the ROADS Initiative, an independent think tank. Madiha conducted qualitative in-depth interviews and research analyzing the impact of public communications campaigns on behavioral changes during COVID-19. She published and presented her research on regional security in South Asia during Covid-19 at multiple academic conferences.
Earlier in her career, Madiha acquired extensive experience working in IT business development with Providge Consulting based in Washington, D.C. She handled client relations for the firm and drafted proposals to bid for federal contracts while managing social media engagement and the team’s customer relationship management platform to nurture a strong network of clients.
Madiha holds a master’s degree in peace and conflict studies from the National University of Science and Technology Centre for International Peace and Stability in Islamabad. She received an undergraduate degree in foreign affairs from the University of Virginia in the United States.
