Ralph Flores
Ralph tracks developments in the Philippine health system and assesses their impact on the country’s political and business landscapes. He provides research and technical writing support, contributing analysis on the dynamic field of Philippine health care. He concurrently serves as a research associate for the Stratbase Group, a think tank and consultancy based in Manila.
Earlier, Ralph interned for various health and development institutions. He gained familiarity with local health systems and processes during his stint with the Philippine General Hospital and the Naic municipal government in Cavite province. His experience with ReachHealth, a USAID project on maternal and child health, provided him with valuable insights on universal health care reforms in the Philippines. He has also engaged in public health research, with published studies exploring the extent and impact of food insecurity on poor communities in the Philippines.
Ralph graduated cum laude from the University of the Philippines Manila with a bachelor’s degree in public health.
