Reno Bagaskara, MPA

Reno focuses on political and economic risk analysis, with a special focus on government processes, bureaucracies and national level policy formulation. He is experienced in policy advocacy and building coalitions across government ministries required to achieve results.
Prior to joining BGA, Reno worked for over three years in the Executive Office of the President of the Republic of Indonesia. During his tenure, his substantive role was supervising and evaluating the president’s priority programs in food security and agricultural policy, social protection, macroeconomic policy and reform of the national food assistance program. Reno conducted research, wrote speeches and prepared talking points for the president’s chief of staff and deputy chief of staff for high-level governmental meetings and public appearances.
Reno holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Gadjah Mada University in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. He received his master’s degree in public administration from Columbia University, New York.
