Serene began her career as a consultant with PwC Southeast Asia Consulting. While there, she collaborated closely with local and regional government clients and public sector entities. Serene is skilled in benchmarking, stakeholder interviews, workshops and analysis. Her experiences have informed her overarching policy recommendations and guidance on specific topics like sustainable finance.
Serene graduated from Yale-NUS College with a Bachelor of Arts (honors) in environmental studies. She is fluent in English and Chinese and has studied Japanese and Bahasa Indonesia. As a professional passionate about sustainability, she has obtained certifications in sustainable finance and the circular economy.
