Shruti Jain

Shruti is a policy researcher with a strong professional background in development cooperation, inclusive growth and development, multilateralism and the Indian economy.
Prior to joining BGA, Shruti was a coordinator for the Think20 India Secretariat, an official engagement group of the Group of 20 (G-20), and an associate research fellow for the Observer Research Foundation’s geoeconomics program. In these roles, she actively contributed to research, policy development and analysis related to the G-20, international development cooperation and the international financial order.
Shruti was selected to be part of the Globsec Young Leaders’ Cohort in Bratislava, Slovakia, in 2023, and the Korea Development Institute’s G-20 Global Leadership Program in 2022. While interning earlier with the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development, Shruti conducted primary research on digital financial inclusion in rural Maharashtra.
Shruti completed a master’s degree in public policy and bachelor’s degree in economics from St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai. In addition to her professional endeavors, Shruti has shared her expertise as a guest lecturer at Mumbai University, where she taught courses in international relations. Her lectures focused on topics related to multilateralism and geoeconomics.
