Daniel Toligi

Daniel focuses on supporting businesses with interests in ICT, healthcare, intellectual property, and fast-moving consumer goods. In particular Daniel is experienced in working with Government officials to find solutions to local content requirements, discriminatory import tax issues, digital platform licensing, and to ensure protection of intellectual property. Daniel’s networks in government are especially deep in the ministries of communication and informatics, health, and tax office. Daniel is especially adept at helping companies to provide input on draft regulations and policies before they are promulgated. Additionally, Daniel has worked with companies on the ground to help them find ways to develop meaningful relationships and support government policies on growth and investment while also furthering their commercial goals in Indonesia, as well as navigating through potential pitfalls.
Prior to joining BGA, Daniel worked at Ernst and Young, supporting business development initiatives and working in public sector advisory projects. He also developed a strategy and network of stakeholders for a G7 economy government to implement donor programs and boost its bilateral trade relations with Indonesia. Daniel also established his own investment company that navigated through tough political and business risks.
Daniel received his bachelor’s degree in international studies from Leiden University, with a minor in global affairs.
