Jasmine Lee

Jasmine conducts research and analysis on Taiwan’s politics, economy, technology landscape and regulatory developments to help BGA clients navigate business challenges and opportunities. She is committed to serving as a bridge between government and private enterprises, facilitating dialogue among policymakers, businesses and stakeholders. Over the course of her career, Jasmine has developed strong relationships with government officials, industry leaders and media representatives.

Before joining BGA, Jasmine was a researcher at the Information Operation Research Group, where she worked with global think tanks, civil society organizations and political leaders to promote a more resilient information environment. She is also a contributor to U.S.-Taiwan Watch, a think tank and media organization specializing in U.S.-Taiwan-China relations and Indo-Pacific geopolitics. There, she provided analysis through a weekly podcast and co-authored the best-selling book “Why and How the US Matters.” Her chapter on Taiwan’s regulatory environment and U.S. commerce was recognized by former Minister of Economic Affairs Wang Mei-hua. Through her work, Jasmine has developed expertise in translating complex geopolitical and policy issues for diverse audiences, including policymakers and business leaders.

Jasmine holds a master’s degree in international relations from New York University and a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Shih Hsin University in Taipei. She is fluent in English and Mandarin and was born and raised in Taipei.
