Washington, D.C. & Singapore: BowerGroupAsia (BGA), the premier strategic advisory firm focusing on the Indo-Pacific, announces that Ryan Sickles (pictured left), currently the Vice President for Client Services, will take on the new role of Chief Strategy Officer, and Charles Bower (pictured right) will be promoted to Vice President for Client Services. Ryan will remain at headquarters in Washington, D.C. and Charlie will continue to work from Singapore, taking the leadership of client support to the region.

Ryan Sickles joined BGA nearly seven years ago, and in that time has worked tirelessly in support of its clients. He has worked with BGA’s teams to expand and innovate, improve quality and ensure it provides the best possible insights and solutions to clients. In Ryan’s new role, he will drive efforts across BGA’s functional, sectoral and country teams to develop and implement company goals. He will oversee business development, strategic communications and marketing, taking a data driven approach to measure performance, enable smart growth and anticipate future needs.

Charlie Bower will take the helm of BGA’s client services as it deepens the expertise and impact of the team. Charlie joined BGA in 2017. As Senior Director, he helped clients navigate some of the world’s most complex challenges. He will now focus on driving the growth and development of BGA’s services and sector focus to ensure that it continues to provide innovative solutions for its clients, while also providing value and benefit to the countries where BGA works.

President & CEO Ernie Bower states, “These promotions are designed to underline our long-term commitment to our clients and the countries where we do our work. As we approach our 20th anniversary in 2024, my commitment is generational, and we intend to continue working with our stakeholders in Asia for decades to come under the BGA banner.”
