Adrian specializes in government engagement, stakeholder mapping and in-depth regulatory analysis. He has broad understanding of policymaking processes, regulatory frameworks and the rationale behind government policy in several business sectors including finance, ICT and manufacturing. Adrian has extensive networks with government officials, lawmakers, civil society groups, industry associations and academics in Southeast Asia’s largest economy that help the private sector develop mutual understanding and enhance trust with the public sector.
Before joining BGA, Adrian worked as a journalist for two years at Indonesia’s leading English-language newspaper, The Jakarta Post, in which he covered economics, tax policy and monetary policy. He was among the leading Indonesian journalists covering the 2020 economic crisis and financial market turmoil in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic that had a far-reaching impact to the private sector. His work has been cited by organizations such as the World Bank and the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD).
Adrian holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Indonesia.
