Sonali is a budding policy professional working at the intersection of business and governance. At BGA, she provides clients with business intelligence and strategy to help clients navigate the regulatory landscape and develop growth strategies. 

Prior to joining BGA, Sonali worked at 9.9 Insights, a policy advisory firm based in New Delhi. She worked with corporate and philanthropic organizations and garnered expertise in the technology and international trade sectors. Earlier Sonali was a recipient of India’s Legislative Assistants to Members of Parliament (LAMP) Fellowship, which gave her the opportunity to work as a legislative researcher for a member of Parliament. Her role aided the parliamentarian in his engagements in the lower house and with the committees on industries and finance.  

Sonali graduated from Lady Shri Ram College for Women with a B.A. in sociology. Owing to her interest in policymaking, she interned at Harvard University’s South Asia Institute and at India’s Ministry of External Affairs during her studies.  

Sonali is passionate about grassroots change and runs an NGO that aims to boost the socio-economic position of farmers in the Himalayas. She is a trained Bharatnatyam dancer and appreciates art in all its forms.
